...because it’s made from #2, HDPE plastic – basically that means milk containers! It is BPA-free, Phthalate-free and PVC-free. And, as it's one of the easiest plastics to recycle, it can be recycled again and again. Recycling a 5 litre plastic milk container will save enough energy to keep a 100-watt bulb burning for 11 hours !

Re-Play meets food contact requirements

Natural coloured containers from food-related applications (usually milk and other drink containers) are recycled through a unique process that the USA FDA has approved for food contact. The plastic is specially selected and cleaned to meet strict purity standards. Each finished product line, in each colour, is then third-party tested, assuring buyers that the Re-Play final product meets fully the FDA requirements for contact with food.

The colour concentrate is safe for food contact; all the ingredients in the colours are FDA approved.

Re-Play is made in the USA

Re-Play recycled HDPE products are manufactured, assembled, packaged and tested in the USA.

Re-Play is dishwasher-safe

Like most plastics (and melamine), Re-Play is top rack dishwasher safe and should not be used in the microwave.

Re-Play supports community workers

The company works with Habilitation Center in Boca Raton, Florida. This non-profit organisation has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant and employs adults with special needs. Habilitation Center packages some of the Re-Play product line.

Re-Play REALLY is made from re-cycled milk bottles

The community recycler takes away empty milk containers and other recycling items which are flattened and sorted. The supplier carefully sorts and selects the appropriate containers, grinds them up into flakes, which are thoroughly cleaned, dried and colour sorted. Then the little flakes are melted and made into pellets for shipping to the moulder who mixes the recycled pellets with a batch of colourant pellets, and then magically moulds each Re-Play item.

It has a smaller carbon footprint! Recycling saves energy, water, resources and landfill space, and reduces pollution.

Re-Play has recycled packaging

The company's innovative recycled paperboard sleeves are customized to snugly fit each product group. No need for those annoying twist ties, wires or plastic tabs. That adds up to less material than a traditional box, and a more environmentally friendly package.
